Lane 1, L. mexicana wild type promastigotes (4 × 107 cells); lane 2, amastigotes derived from mouse lesion (4 × 107 cells); lane 3, wild type in vitro differentiated amastigotes (1 × 108 cells); lane 4, promastigotes of LmxMPK4 episomal overexpressor (1 × 107 cells). A, blot probed with antiserum against the carboxy-terminal peptide of LmxMPK4; B, the blot was stripped and re-probed with a polyclonal antiserum against myo-inositol-1-phosphate synthase.
