Southern analysis of genomic DNA. 1, PstI; 2, HincII; 3, HindIII; 4, Acc65I; 5, XbaI; 6, SpeI; 7, EcoRV; 8, ClaI; 9, NdeI; 10, NcoI; 11, MluI; 12, MunI. Digested DNA (5 μg) was electrophoresed on a 0.7% agarose gel, blotted onto nylon membranes and probed with a DIG-labelled DNA probe corresponding to a fragment of the open reading frame (nt 240 – nt 930). Numbers indicate the approximate size of DNA markers in kb.
